Artist Statement

to see and be seen;

Zoe Leigh Turner is a painter, photographer, and printmaker. She makes art as a means of advocacy and education, with topics ranging from climate change to human rights to mental health. A lot of her work aims to aide in the creation of conversations about hard to discuss subject matter and to help bridge the imagined gap between art and science, to make important scientific information more clear and digestible for those less versed in science. Advocating for minority groups that she is either a part of or allied with is the final cornerstone of Zoe's artwork.
